The AI-Empowered SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) course prepares Product Owners and Product Managers to define, prioritize, and deliver value effectively within a scaled Agile environment—while responsibly leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance decision-making.
Within the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), Product Owners and Product Managers play a central role in aligning customer needs, business objectives, and delivery execution. This course builds on the standard SAFe POPM role by introducing AI as a decision-support capability, helping participants analyze data, evaluate trade-offs, improve prioritization, and manage complexity—without replacing human judgment or accountability.
Grounded in the official SAFe framework from Scaled Agile, Inc., the course provides practical guidance for applying AI-enabled insights to backlog refinement, roadmap development, value prioritization, and outcome measurement. Participants learn how to balance qualitative judgment with quantitative data, collaborate across teams and stakeholders, and apply ethical considerations when using AI in product decisions. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to apply AI-empowered techniques that improve product outcomes while maintaining transparency, alignment, and enterprise governance.
Course Format:
This is a live, instructor-led AI-Empowered SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) course delivered online via Zoom. The course is offered over scheduled sessions and is a one-time class (not a subscription).
