Course Overview
The Leading SAFe course is delivered in an instructor-led format, either in person or via live online delivery. Tuition includes access to SAFe Studio, which provides the digital course workbook, supporting learning resources, and a practice exam. The cost of the SAFe® Agilist (SA) certification exam is included in the tuition, with no separate exam or registration fees.
Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to take the SAFe® Agilist certification exam and apply Lean-Agile leadership practices to guide organizations through the complexity of large-scale Agile transformation.
The Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) provides a comprehensive approach for scaling Agile and Lean practices across large organizations. It was created to address the realities of enterprise delivery—where strategy, governance, funding, compliance, and technology must align across multiple teams and business units. SAFe enables organizations to connect strategy to execution, organize around value, and deliver complex solutions in a predictable and sustainable way.
The Leading SAFe® course introduces leaders and change agents to the principles, practices, and mindset required to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise. Rather than focusing on team-level mechanics, this course emphasizes system-level thinking, leadership behaviors, and the operating model required to successfully adopt and sustain SAFe at scale. Participants gain a clear
understanding of how SAFe integrates Agile development, Lean systems thinking, and product development flow to improve business outcomes.
Grounded in the Scaled Agile Framework® from Scaled Agile, Inc., this course provides a practical foundation for leading organizational change, aligning portfolios and programs to strategy, and enabling teams to deliver value in complex enterprise environments.
