Join us for our December weekend SAFe Release Train Engineer course. The SAFe Release Train Engineer course prepares experienced Agile leaders to coordinate complex delivery across an Agile Release Train (ART). Participants learn how to facilitate large-scale events. align multiple teams, address systemic impediments, and improve the flow of value.
Within SAFe, the Release Train Engineer serves as a servant leader and coach for the ART. The RTE facilitates ART events and processes, supports teams in delivering value, communicates with stakeholders, helps manage risks, and promotes relentless improvement across the train.
This advanced course focuses on the leadership and facilitation skills required to organize an ART, lead PI Planning, support PI execution, optimize flow, coach teams and stakeholders, and maintain alignment between strategy and execution.
The course also introduces practical applications of artificial intelligence for the RTE role. Participants explore how AI can support dependency mapping, stakeholders communication, flow analysis, risk prediction, and data-informed coaching. Learners also practice evaluating AI-generated recommendations for alignment with Lean-Agile principles while maintaining responsible human oversight.
